Going to court

Quick links to other support pages:

If you’re attending court as either a witness or victim of a crime, we can help.

Our support is individual to you, and is based your needs. This may include:

  • information on what will happen;
  • viewing images of the court or visiting ahead of your appearance; and
  • help on the day

Who can get support?

Our support is available to you if you are:

  • the victim of the crime;
  • witness to the crime; or
  • a family member or friend of someone who lost their life as a result of the crime.

We can support you before, during and after a court trial. If a case is going to court, the police may contact you, asking your permission to pass your details to us.
